
Wealdstone FC's National League opener against Halifax Town ended in a 2-1 victory for Wealdstone. An early red card had Halifax down to 10 men, with Sean Adarkwa scoring the opener for Wealdstone a few minutes after the dismissal. Halifax equalised before the half-time whistle, but the difference between the teams was a Jack Cook screamer from 30 yards early on in the second half. Wealdstone hung on for the rest of the game and managed to get the victory in their league opener.
