Tottenham drew 1-1 with Eintracht Frankfurt at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the first leg of their Europa League quarter-final; Frankfurt took a shock lead just six minutes in through Hugo Ekitike before Spurs equalised in the 26th minute via a clever backheel from Pedro Porro after good work by James Maddison. Spurs dominated much of the rest of the match, hitting the woodwork multiple times through Lucas Bergvall and Rodrigo Bentancur, and forcing several strong saves from Frankfurt goalkeeper Kaua Santos, but couldn’t find a winner.
